Recipe: Tarte flambée

Ingredients for 6 servings
Per flambéed tart:
- 1 tart base (or very thin pizza dough),
- 2.1 oz (60 g) of thick cream seasoned with a little nutmeg and pepper for the savory version (or with a little sugar and cinnamon for the sweet version),
- 1/2 sliced onion,
- 2.8 oz (80 g) of smoked bacon,
- 1.75 oz (50 g) of Gruyère
Step-by-step directions
Spread the thick cream on the tart base, add the half onion, bacon and Gruyère.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in a very hot oven.
Cut into 8 pieces with a pizza cutter and enjoy with friends!
To vary the pleasures, try the "forest" version (with mushrooms), vegetarian, Maroilles, Munster or Roquefort.
And for dessert, try apple-cinnamon, banana-chocolate... Vary infinitely! Enjoy!
