Ingredients for 10 servings
- 1 1/2 c (375 ml) flour
- 1/4 c (60 ml) cocoa
- 1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
- 1/2 c (125 ml) melted butter
- 1 c (250 ml) sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) baking powder
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) salt
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) vinegar
- 1 c (250 ml) very hot water
- N.B. you can add 1/2 c chocolate chips or raisins or nuts according to your taste
- Frosting: 1/4 c (60 ml) soft butter
- 1 tsp (5 ml) instant coffee
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) hot water to dilute the coffee
- 2 c (500 ml) icing sugar
