Cadillac
South-West FranceCadillac is a red wine from the Bordeaux region of France, produced from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. It displays an intense, deep color with red and violet hues. On the nose, ripe red fruit aromas emerge, notably cherry and strawberry, complemented by woody notes of cedar and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine is rich and complex, with silky tannins and balanced acidity, concluding with a long, persistent finish of red fruits and vanilla.
Cadillac is typically aged in oak barrels for approximately 18 months, which provides structure and aromatic complexity. It pairs well with red meat dishes such as beef or venison, as well as aged, full-flavored cheeses. This wine is equally suited to autumn and winter evenings, enjoyed by a fireplace.
Cadillac is also known for its aging potential. It can be cellared for many years, continuing to evolve and develop in complexity, making it an excellent choice for wine collectors.
