Ingredients for 4 servings
- Beef Fillets with Porcini Mushrooms, Braised For 4 people:
- 4 steaks of 200 g from the fillet
- 4 large porcini mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- Flat parsley for decoration
- Salt
1- Keep only the caps of the mushrooms (the stems can be used for a stuffing, sauce, omelet, etc.) and wipe them with a cloth.
2- Brush oil on the porcini mushrooms and the steaks.
3- Cook the porcini mushrooms for 10 minutes, the steaks for 4 to 7 minutes, depending on whether you like them rare or medium.
4- Place the porcini mushrooms hollow side down first towards the embers, salt halfway through cooking.
5- When meat and mushrooms are cooked, place the steaks on a dish, top each with a porcini mushroom, add the parsley and bring to the table.
** You can drizzle them with a little olive oil or serve with creamed butter, enhanced with a hint of garlic, anchovy paste and fresh herbs.
** You can also make it with large button mushrooms, but less flavorful...
